Mike - The guys at Tactical Cowboy really know their stuff. I completed my first CQB course with them and it was extremely well thought out and structured in a way for you to gain a firm understanding of the fundamentals before jumping right into scenarios. I felt everything we learned was cutting edge which makes it great for beginners and experienced individuals. Highly recommend their training to anyone.

Steve - SOLO CQB - Took this class over the weekend and all I can say is WOW. It was a real eye opener. Devin and his team do a great job teaching the WHY and showing it after. The concepts click faster when you have a class forum like theirs. We discussed the why, then we were showed the how and lastly, we put it into practice and were able to watch our peers do the same which I think was key to my development. Devin and his team allow for open discussion between the instructors and group which helped answer a lot of questions. This also allowed for our group to come up with plenty of what ifs that we worked through to mold the class to fit our most likely scenarios and maybe our biggest fears when facing a real-life threat. I think this class is really a must do in a class setting my fellow classmates helped me learn almost as much as the instructors. Watching their reps and hearing their thought processes allowed me to adapt to the new skill quicker and puck up a few more tips and tricks. I will be back for another class at TCTS!

David - I took Tactical Cowboy’s CQB class and thought it was well planned and full of useful information. It was paced so that there wasn’t any down time but not so fast paced that one was overwhelmed. Both Devin and Braiden are knowledgeable and patient mentors and the company philosophy is open minded and all opinions were considered and discussed. I will be taking it again.

Sam - I had the opportunity to train with Devin and his team over a two day training course. Devin’s instructions was tailored to mine and other’s individual understanding and experience and made it easy to understand and apply. Devin took a complex course and broke everything down to crucial principles that can be applied in a variety of scenarios. My family and I will be attending another one of the Tactical Cowboy’s courses again soon. I would strongly recommend Devin and his team if your considering getting training.

Dave - Absolutely awesome class!

Solo CQB was my first training with Tactical Cowboy and I was blown away by how good it was. (I was also blown away by a few UTMs during the class.) Tons of information, tons of reps, tons of fun. You will absolutely learn what to do and why, and you will get a lot of chances to try it out. The balance of action vs discussion was perfect, time never felt wasted, and in the end I feel like I had really learned everything that Devin had set out to teach.

Devin is an epic instructor! He's prepared, knows what he wants you to learn, and he makes sure you can actually perform what he's teaching, rather than just going through the motions. I don't want to forget about Angel and Jace who also did an awesome job helping teach, analyze performance, setup scenarios, and maybe absorb the occasional UTM round. I'll definitely be back for more trainings!

Braiden - Outstanding instructors and great class for any level of shooters. Would highly recommend Tactical Cowboy Training Solutions for anyone new to shooting or any experienced shooters who want to work on stepping up their game!

Isaac - My experience with Tactical Cowboy has always been very educational for me. Specifically in this solo CQB class, with the constant reps that Devin and Braiden had us participate in, I was able to retain a lot of educational information. I thought the hands-on experience, with different layouts made it simple enough for us students to practice the basic principles and fundamentals of CQB and perfect it and ingrain good habits. The teachings that was given all made sense to me, and if it didn’t, I was able to ask frequent questions, and they were able to help me understand what was being taught. Devin and Braiden were both very good listeners when it came to students asking questions. Immediately when the class started, there were questions being asked and answered and it was good to see all the students be constantly involved. From a shooters point of view who has no experience on this subject, my thoughts always reverted back to how will this benefit my family in my own home. I feel I have become a greater protector for my family. Those who are looking for education on this subject, even if you come from a higher background with alot of experience, can walk away with an enhanced understanding that da methods being taught can be adapted into any home. Much mahalo for training and coaching me.

Jason - Another great course from The Tactical Cowboy Training Solutions. Devin and Braiden were able to present the concepts and allowed ample time to apply the principles through practice. I appreciated their reference that Solo CQB is a thinking man’s game. They reinforced that there is not one way of doing things but it is dependent upon the situation. As with other training, I’ve added skills to my toolbox to draw from in the future. I like their way of introducing the fundamentals and then building from there and always returning to the fundamentals before adding the next item.
